Ocean Challenge (6 to 12 days)

The rough ocean life, Off grid because of simply no grid, only satellite in case of emergency.

More than 50% of the time 'day & night sailing' on the blue wilderness, so living in shifts.

Some days near-shore and on-land 'adventure' far away from tourist traps

A bit extreme, but utterly addictive and effective for strategic reflection.

A little bit more relaxed, but still full option sailing.

Near shore, easier water (e.g. Mediterranean) every night in a harbour or a bay (night sailing more flexible and on request).

More time for near-shore and on-land adventure, but still no tourist traps. In general we have a tendency for the unobvious ;-).

Ideal for people that don't need extremes to get to top performance

Some thinking upfront
Since this is about Your Odyssey, it will always be tailored to you and your business needs, so we have some talking points for the call:

What stage are you in as an entrepreneur both personal & business wise?
Personal:
-
'Brain at full throttle'? Or can we tweak it up a bit?
-
How would you characterize yourself?

Business:
-
Are you looking for a more general 'open horizon' inspiration trip or are you looking to revamp or boost your existing BAU (incl. profound assessment of your BAU)
-
Are you looking for maximum interaction with other entrepreneurs or are you interested in taking your management team on a new journey.
Some features of the boatlife:
-
We can go 'regatta' extreme or as soft as the crew wants, but always without compromising safety.
-
A good working atmosphere on board always prevails on just ticking the challenge box.
-
We decide together, but the captain has end responsibility, so within what he judges safe enough.
-
The different task on board are always equally distributed over the crew in a turning shift system. Everybody gets to Navigate, Cook, Fish, Steer, Sail, Play Captain, Anchor, etc. The mix of brain and physical work is one of the key enablers of the program.
-
Always off grid (phone vault or signal blocking if needed) Allergic to tourist traps. Exploring mindset.
-
No nautical experience is needed, just a healthy interest and a reasonably good fit. The goal is always to have a crew that's ready for a Regatta by the end of the trip. We always go for some competition at the end of the trip, an official regatta when possible.
-
The boats we use are always state of the art, comfortable and large enough for the crew. Solo cabins can be arranged, but are not the standard.
